Day 1 & 2: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe
Your Vic Falls, Chobe & Fly-In Khwai Safari begins at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. You will be greeted and transferred to Ilala Lodge, a charming hotel only eight minutes walk from the iconic Victoria Falls. Spend your time exploring Victoria Falls town with its relaxed atmosphere, quaint cafes and bustling markets. Thrill-seekers can engage in the host of activities on offer, like helicopter rides, or adrenaline activities like bungee jumping, gorge swings and zip lining.
Later in the afternoon, we set off on a leisurely sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River above the falls. Soak in the peaceful ambience, refreshing drink in hand, spotting wildlife along the riverbanks, including birds, crocodiles, and possibly elephants, as the sun sets. On the morning of day 2, take an up-close guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Upon arrival and after border formalities, enjoy a relaxing lunch before embarking on a scenic boat safari cruise along the Chobe River. The river lies along the edge of Chobe National Park, located in northeastern Botswana, home to an astonishing array of wildlife, including over 50,000 migratory elephants. A riverboat safari offers a unique opportunity to observe hippos lounging in the water, crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, and elephants bathing or crossing the river. Along the lush shores, keep a lookout for lions, leopards, wild dogs, and a variety of antelope species, as well as a dazzling array of birdlife.
After this, head to your intimate safari lodge, Camp Kuzuma. Experience an authentic African wilderness setting within the Kazuma Forest Reserve, a key wildlife corridor. It offers an exceptional base for exploring the stunning landscapes of the Moremi Game Reserve, at the heart of the Okavango Delta.
