Rwanda’s Prime Minister opens Africa Food Systems Forum, rallies Africa to strengthen food systems

Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS Forum) is the world’s premier forum for African agriculture and food systems, bringing together stakeholders to take practical action and share lessons that will move African food systems forward. While officially opening the 2024 Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali that brought together more than 5,000 delegates from across the globe, Rwanda’s Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente called on African countries to join forces to strengthen food systems in the wake of global crises that contribute to scarcity of food, against an ever increasing demand for it.
