I am so delighted & relieved to find this video. I desire what’s referred to as a “moko kauae” or chin tattoo in Māori culture. But, I wanted my own ancestor’s markings and didn’t want to risk false accusations of cultural appropriation. Seeing this video, I feel warmth and a sense of belonging. Thank you for sharing.
