Day 1: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe
Your affordable Zimbabwe Safari will begin when you arrive at Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. You will be greeted upon your arrival and transferred to the beautiful Ilala Lodge, located close to the Zimbabwe side of the falls, where you will spend the night.
Victoria Falls is one of the world’s largest and most spectacular waterfalls. Known locally as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” (The Smoke That Thunders), the falls plunge over 100 meters into the rugged Zambezi Gorge, so powerful they create a mist that is visible from many miles away. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. You may seek adventure in a host of activities from white-water rafting or bungee jumping to a scenic helicopter flip, or prefer to relax by the pool or explore Victoria Falls Village. In the afternoon, unwind on a sunset cruise aboard the in-house Ra-Ikane, a stylish riverboat that offers an intimate experience on the Zambezi River. Witness a dazzling African sunset while gliding along the tranquil river spotting wildlife along the banks with a selection of canapés and a fully stocked bar.
