Day 1 & 2: Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe
Your Victoria Falls to Botswana Safari begins in Victoria Falls with a warm welcome at the airport and transfer to Batonka Guest Lodge (or similar) which will be home for the first two nights of your adventure. Settle into the lodge and unwind before your adventure begins. Your guide will provide an overview of the safari adventure ahead before you tuck into a delicious dinner.
Day 2 begins with a visit to the magnificent Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a guided tour. Get there early to appreciate the falls in the early morning light and avoid the crowds. Return to the lodge and spend the day at your leisure. Explore the town and its markets, or book yourself on one of the many adventure activities on offer, from scenic flights over the falls to bungy jumping or zip lining.
Rejoin the group mid-afternoon to set off for a sunset boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi River above the falls. Enjoy the serene pace as you watch the sun setting in these unique surroundings. Later, you can join the group for an evening out at a local restaurant (own account).

Day 3: Victoria Falls to Kasane & Chobe River – Botswana
After breakfast, a driver will transfer across the border to Kasane in Botswana. Check in to Chobe Bush Lodge (or similar), located on the banks of the Chobe River. After a light lunch, your Botswana Safari from Victoria Falls embarks on an exciting riverboat cruise on the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. The river gives you an excellent vantage point to witness all sorts of wildlife gathering at the river, including the possibility of seeing elephants playfully bathing. Return to the lodge after a stunning sunset for a delightful dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Kasane to Chobe National Park & Chobe Forest Reserve – Botswana
Today, enjoy a full day of game viewing in Chobe. Hop into your 4×4 safari vehicle for a safari game drive in Chobe National Park in search of all the animals that may cross your path, from the herds of elephants that make the region famous to various antelope, giraffe, buffalo, lions and much more. Take a break in a serene, shady spot to enjoy a picnic lunch before the game-viewing adventure continues.
Meander through the park, exit at Ngoma gate and continue to Chobe Forest Reserve nearby. Enjoy more wildlife encounters as you make your way to beautiful Thobolo’s Bush Lodge (or similar), which you should reach by mid-afternoon. Settle in and enjoy panoramic views of the scenic Barangwe Pan, watching the birds and animals as they come to the water to drink. Sip a refreshing sundowner drink before tucking into a hearty dinner and soak in the sounds of the African bush.

Day 5: Chobe Forest Reserve to Savuti & Khwai Region – Botswana
Your Botswana Safari makes an early start today for a full day on the road, keeping a lookout for wildlife. You are headed to the renowned Savuti region of the Okavango Delta, known as an excellent place to spot predators such as lions and hyenas. The early morning hours are a good time to meet nocturnal leopards returning from a night out hunting.
Spend the day meandering through Savuti towards the Khwai Concession of the Okavango Delta, stopping for a picnic lunch en route. The journey covers approximately 160 kilometres (100 miles) and takes 6-7 hours, depending on wildlife sightings along the way. By late afternoon you arrive at the comfortable MmaTsebe Tented Camp (or similar) on the banks of the delta’s Mbudi channel which is home for the next 3 nights. Unwind after the long drive, have a hearty dinner and enjoy a serene evening by the campfire.

Day 6 & 7: Moremi Game Reserve & Khwai Region – Botswana
Day 6 of your Botswana Safari from Victoria Falls has a more leisurely start after two early mornings. After breakfast, head to the nearby poling station to embark on a leisurely mokoro excursion along the Mbudi water channels for a tranquil exploration of the delta’s water wonderland. Glide through the waters as your expert poler shares their knowledge of the delta’s plants and animals. Return to camp for a few hours of siesta, before heading off in the 4×4 safari vehicle for a thrilling afternoon game drive.
Start early on Day 7 to take full advantage of the early morning hours which is an excellent time for wildlife spotting in Moremi Game Reserve at the heart of Okavango Delta. The park is home to the Big Five – elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo – and a host of other wildlife. Moremi is also known for its thriving population of African wild dogs, renowned for their exceptional pack-hunting skills. Midday brings a visit to the Xakanaxa Lagoon, where you can enjoy a boat trip through the reed-lined waterways and a picnic lunch while admiring the vast beauty of the Okavango Delta. Return to Mmatsebe Camp in the late afternoon for a hearty dinner and a night immersed in the soothing sounds of the African bush.

Day 8: Moremi to Sankuyo Community Concession – Botswana
Enjoy a last early morning game drive this morning before returning to the lodge for a delicious brunch. Check into Mogogelo Camp (or similar) and enjoy the authentic, community-run safari experience. Relax with a sundowner on your private deck, overlooking the waterhole as animals gather. Enjoy your last safari dinner as you soak up the serenity of Botswana’s Okavango Delta.

Day 9: Sankuyo Community Concession to Maun – Botswana
Enjoy a final breakfast at the camp before your guide drives you approximately 70 kilometres (43 miles) to Maun. Here, your incredible Botswana Safari from Victoria Falls ends with a transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Depending on the timing of your onward flight, there may be time to book an optional scenic flight to get a breathtaking aerial perspective of the grandeur of the Okavango Delta.
