Pambota with Fufu Cooking african food for the first time

Pambota is a soup made using palm kernels, which are inside the palm fruit. To make Pambota, the juice is extracted from the kernel and used as the soup base. This dish is common in Equatorial Guinea.

We made Fufu to partner the Pambota because it can be used for dipping into the sauce. Our Fufu was made from plantain flour and a pinch of salt. Fufu is found throughout Western and Central Africa, therefore has many different variations.
